Prime shortlisted for three RICS Awards for Cobridge Community Health Centre 27 March 2014

Prime will be hoping to win a hat-trick of awards following the announcement that its Cobridge Community Health Centre project has been shortlisted in three categories at the prestigious Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) West Midlands Awards.

The primary and community care facility in Stoke-on-Trent, which opened in October 2011 and includes the UK’s first integrated sexual health unit and sexual assault referral centre (SARC), will go head-to-head with other new and regeneration projects from around the region in the ‘Regeneration’, ‘Community Benefit’ and ‘Design through Innovation’ categories.

The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational regional initiatives and developments in land, property and construction, celebrating the achievements of professionals working in both the built and natural environment.

Steve Sprackling, Development Director at Prime said; “The development is an important scheme in a 15-year programme of regeneration of Cobridge and one which has injected new life into a once derelict site and encouraged the community to reconnect with their local health and wellbeing services.”
