We are proud of the talent within our business. Developing a new building isn’t just about design or construction – it’s about how we attract investment for new facilities, the way we work with our clients and how we engage with patients, staff and local communities.
Since our inception in 1996, we’ve delivered a number of project firsts and that’s testament to the skills of our team. We want to deliver the best for our clients and that means delivering innovative solutions that meet their needs – both now and into the future.
Our business is made up of four core teams:
Our team of Chartered Financial and Management Accountants manage the group’s finances and are an integral part of delivering our projects, from ensuring an efficient flow of project funding to offering expert advice on accounting treatments and VAT. This is supported by HR and ICT professionals, who offer the highest level of business and administration support to Prime and its joint ventures.
Including experienced Chartered Surveyors and project managers, our development team is responsible for developing high quality facilities that deliver new models of care and improved patient outcomes. Managing every aspect of the development process, the team’s expertise spans a range of areas, from site identification and acquisition, through to design, planning and business case development. Working alongside our own communications specialists, the team also supports clients with their consultation and engagement requirements, working with them on their communications around new developments.
When we develop a new facility, we are also creating an investment product. Attracting value-for-money private funding is a large part of our role and since Prime’s inception, we have secured more than £750 million of project funding. Our investment team brings together Prime’s property, finance and legal professionals and through this expertise, we have the ability to structure our funding transactions to deliver best value in an ever-changing market place.
Our Asset Management team is responsible for delivering projects safely through construction and into operation. Our construction and facilities management professionals not only ensure our schemes are built to the highest quality standards but work closely with our clients to deliver a smooth handover process, while giving them advice and support when it comes to managing the ongoing maintenance of their facilities. The team also leads on Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and looking after our own corporate HQ.
